Leading truck manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus has supplied four new TGS 35.400 8×4 tippers to Southampton-based Inert Recycling through the Trucks To Go scheme.
The vehicles were provided via MAN Rental, and are on a full repair and maintenance contract.
Colin Donnelly, Transport Manager at Inert, explained: “We are impressed with the service, both from the sales team in Southampton and the MAN fitters at Fareham.
“It has proved to be a very good deal for us, and though it is still early on in their service, the way they are going, we would certainly be looking at doing more business with MAN in the future.”
MAN Sales Executive, Aaron Tamplin, said: “The Trucks To Go scheme offers customers the opportunity to acquire ready-built trucks and bodies without the standard factory build lead times.
“For customers such as Inert Recycling who were looking for a standard vehicle to fulfill their tipper needs it provides a speedy and cost effective solution.”
