Vauxhall has handed over the keys to 69 new vans to housing association, Tai Tarian, helping the company to continue its work across Neath Port Talbot, South Wales.
Providing social housing to residents across the borough of Neath Port Talbot, Tai Tarian is one of the largest social landlords in Wales. The Vauxhall models, which include Combo, Movano and Vivaro vans, will be used across multiple trades as part of its property management and maintenance work, covering over 9,000 properties.
“With our previous ageing fleet of light commercial vehicles we were keen to source a fleet of reliable, aesthetically pleasing, fuel-efficient vehicles that could help us continue to improve our carbon footprint,” said Mair Jones, Fleet Manager at Tai Tari-an. “We believe that Vauxhall are the perfect fit for us taking these aims into consideration. The vehicles look great with their conversions and new livery design, they will serve to improve our visibility and reputation in the community in which we work.”
Tai Tarian specified its Vivaros with bespoke racking, the flexibility of the space enabling the vehicle’s to be modified for the exact purposes they are required to fulfil. The Vivaro order included a mixture of panel van and double cab body styles.
Tai Tarian also took advantage of the choice within the Movano range, Vauxhall’s heavy van offering, opting for a selection including panel vans, chassis cabs and crew cabs. Their Combo choice included panel vans and crew vans.
Vauxhall were given the contract to supply Tai Tarian following a process conducted by TPPL (The Procurement Partnership Ltd), through the Hertfordshire County Council Contract Hire Framework Agreement, which is managed and administered by TPPL and available to TPPL’s customers within the public sector.
