Volkswagen Van Centre West Yorkshire will provide a pick-up vehicle for use by the Ripon Racecourse ground staff and race day veterinary team.
James Hutchinson, Managing Director at Ripon Racecourse, said: “The Volkswagen commercial vehicle business has supported us for more than five years, so we were delighted to strengthen this partnership by introducing an Amarok vehicle to our fleet.
“The vehicle is quite literally a ‘workhorse’ for our grounds team. With a 280 acre venue course maintenance is an on-going task, so we wanted a vehicle that was powerful enough to tow trailers with ample ground clearance, but also stylish and comfortable for race days. The Amarok certainly met this brief.”
Volkswagen Van Centre West Yorkshire’s Director, Andrew Caygill, added: “We are very pleased to bolster our relationship with Ripon Racecourse.
